When you woke up this morning, were you grateful for being able to wake up or were you dreading to be up? Every day we make a choice (consciously or unconsciously) to live through either one of two perspectives, pessimistic or optimistic. Ask yourself, do you see the positive or the negative in everything? It may be time to switch up your lenses.

Blinding your vision with a shade of negativity isn’t ideal for any situation, you’ll end up determining the results before they even happen! Set yourself up for success. Wake up and smell the coffee, or wake up and complain that you had to get up this morning, at the end of the day it is up to you to be the joy you see in this world.

“The Pessimist Sees Difficulty In Every Opportunity. The Optimist Sees Opportunity In Every Difficulty.” – Winston Churchill

Every door that wants to be opened in your life will feel easier to open if you see it as an opportunity and not as a door you fear will be too difficult for your sake. Don’t fear the unknown, embrace it as the lesson or blessing it is meant to be. Take control of your outlook on life and play the creator, not the victim. Playing the victim allows space in your mind for fabricated excuses.

Don’t be Elena, people will catch on to your attitude and eventually stop caring!

Excuses are the roots of all failure. The first part of being successful is believing that you can do it and when a problem does arise (because it will), see the light at the of the tunnel, don’t get distracted by the darkness.
